INTRODUCTION

Robert Benjamin is a very talented up-and-coming director, producer, writer and editor.  

When Robert completed high school in 1988 in Grabouw he had only one thing on his mind and that was to make movies.  But the government film school (Pretoria Technikon) did not accept non-whites at that stage and he felt forced to go and study drama at the University of Cape Town.

In his second year he wrote, directed & produced the play GANGSTERS.  After the success of the play he decided to leave the university and to find work on any movie set.
